Flowing north into the St. Johns River, it has long been a place of peace, history, and natural wonder. Nearby, the DeBary Highbanks rise above the river — a site once used by Native peoples and later early settlers, still holding echoes of Florida’s past. And just downstream lies Blue Spring State Park, a sanctuary where hundreds of manatees gather each winter and where millions of gallons of spring water flow every day.
