This video is for demonstrating an application of electrochemical cells for Chemistry 30 students. Electrochemical cells are used in instrumentation systems for sensing toxic gases. The gas sensed in this video is hydrogen sulphide (H2S). Instrumentation technologists design, setup, configure and maintain gas detection systems.
