How I made a MOTORISED PLANE PROPELLER (For the Man-cave) Part 1 - Workshop I was actually given this propeller as a Christmas present by my other half, she’s a good egg that one! She thought I would hang it on the wall in the man-cave, but oh no no, as soon as I seen it i was working out how to make it spin on the ceiling, its the obvious thing to do right? Instead of having the motor hanging from the ceiling I designed it so the motor and framework are mounted above, on top of the joists….the idea is you will only see the propeller inside in the room, and no one would have any idea it was motorised until it was switched on.
