In this video, I'm going to show you how to add slide transitions in Canva. You’ll see how to add Canva page transitions. Also known as Canva slideshow transitions. There are many options for Canva transition effects. You’ll want to add Canva transitions between pages for presentations or videos. If you want quick, clear steps to add slide transitions inside Canva, you’ve come the right place! You’re going to learn how to immediately apply transitions to an existing Canva presentation or video, polish it, preview, and then present or export it. There’s no theory here. I will show you where to click. You’ll get a fast, visual walkthrough. You’ll find the Transitions control in Canva and choose a style. You will see how to adjust duration, direction/intensity, and apply to all slides for consistency. You will see how the transitions visibly working between slides creating a consistent look and pacing across the deck. Open your presentation in Canva, hover between slide thumbnails in the left panel, and click the icon to Add transition, then choose an effect (e.g., Dissolve, Slide, Wipe, Match & Move) and adjust direction/speed. Use Apply to all to set it across the deck. You can also select a page and click Animate in the top toolbar to manage page and element animations. Preview with Present/Play to test your transitions. You may want to adjust the duration. Duration is the length of time it takes for it to transition to the next slide. Some transitions have a feature for direction. The direction determines which way the transition moves across the screen. For example, a "Slide" transition might offer options to have the new slide push the old one from the left, right, top, or bottom. The available directions depend on the specific transition style selected.
