Katmai National Park is one of the premier bear viewing sites in the world. Every year brown bears come to the famous Brooks Falls to feed on salmon and prepare for winter. We set out to spend two days there camping in an electric fence and seeing more bears than we could count. It was one of the most special national park experiences I have had and let me know what you think in the comments. ***Visited in July*** Join the Patreon for behind the scenes videos and more - Alaska National Park videos: Glacier Bay - Wrangell St. Elias - Katmai - Kenai Fjords - Lake Clark - Gates of the Arctic & Kobuk Valley - Denali - and Bear Camera - Read more at Follow me: Facebook: Instagram: Pinterest: Twitter: Newsletter: Gear: See all the gear I use here Music: Epidemic Sound 0:00 Intro 0:43 Getting to Katmai 2:28 Bear School & Setting up Camp 4:00 Hiking to Brooks Falls 5:51 Bears at Brooks Falls 9:06 Bears at Lower River Platform Viewpoint 9:31 Dinner at Brooks Lodge 9:51 More bears at Brooks Falls 14:00 Breakfast at camp 14:26 Valley of 10,000 Smokes flight tour 16:27 Last visit to Brooks Falls 17:30 Campground tour & packing up 18:24 Kayaking with bears 20:00 Back to King Salmon #throughmylens #katmai #nationalpark
