Usually this is where there is a maximum or minimum point on the graph. So in example 1 you are asked to find the point on the graph where the gradient is 0. The curve is flat where the gradient is (-1,-6). So this is the point where the gradient is 0. In example 2, the curve is flat at the top of the graph. So the point where the gradient is 0 is at (1,7).
