The Jedi Council was meant to serve the Force not the Senate. Yet over centuries, the Council slowly abandoned its spiritual purpose and allowed itself to be absorbed by the Republic’s politics and bureaucracy. In doing so, they traded wisdom for obedience, intuition for law, and enlightenment for control. This video explores how the Jedi’s pursuit of order and fear of the dark side blinded them to the living Force itself, turning them into tools of the Republic rather than its guardians.
