This is an enhancement to the Perlin Noise algorithm. Perlin noise was very compute intensive, so I added smooth noise fields to the mix. It is not as graceful as Perlin noise, but much faster to compute. Tuning parameter ranges yield instances ranging from serene, cloud-like color fields to raucous explosions of rapidly changing colors. Finally I occasionally add dark or light stripes to the color mix. Algorithmic Dynamic Art (ADA) is a real-time generative and non-curated art form. Each unique, non-repeating art instance has a life cycle of creation, growth and death. ADA is art as algorithm, written in Python and designed for live presentation on large HD or 4k displays. Each art instance is composed as you watch, is ephemeral, unique and never repeated. This video is a screen capture of the application running particular algorithms. These works are best viewed by playing one of the playlists on a large screen TV.
