Helix Editor Tutorial 3 - Goto mode Goto mode: - Minor mode you can enter by pressing g - gg moves you to the top of the file. - ge moves to the end of the file. - gl moves to the end of the line. - gh moves to the beginning of the line. - gs moves to the first non-blank character in the line. - g NUMBER g to go to that line number. Or just type NUMBER G - gw puts you into jump mode. All words are now highlighted with two characters. Simply type those characters to immediately jump to that word. - gf to go to a file. - Use Ctrl-o to go back and Ctrl-i to go forward here. - gd let's you go to the definition of a variable or function. - gr stands for go to reference. It let's you see all of the occurrences of a variable or function in your code. - g. let's you go to the last edit.
