An offset slider crank is designed as a Quick Return Crank Slider to satisfy a given quick return time ratio and stroke length. Design a Quick Return Crank Slider requires solving for crank, coupler, and offset lengths. Crank Slider Toggle Positions as alpha/beta crank angles are solved first using the advance return time ratio, then the coupler length, and finally the offset distance are solved next using trigonometry, law of sines, and law of cosines. I end with discussion of the maximum possible time ratio, since the graphical technique demonstrated can fail in a non-obvious way when the time ratio is too large.
