In 1944, the Soviet Union erected a bronze statue in Tallinn to commemorate the lives lost in pushing German occupiers out of the area. In 2007, the Estonian government move the statue from a busy street corner to a nearby military cemetery. What happened next sent the Estonian government down a digital rabbit hole, turning the country into a cybersecurity superpower.
