Rocket City Radio Controllers – 6th Annual Model Aviation Day One of the greatest communities you can be a part of is the RC flying community—and here in Huntsville, Alabama, we’re fortunate to have one of the best. Known as the Rocket City, home to NASA and the Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville is also home to the Rocket City Radio Controllers (RCRC). We recently wrapped up our 6th Annual Model Aviation Day, and it was a fantastic success! Pilots and spectators from all over joined us at the field. Many came just to watch, but for some kids, it was their first time holding the sticks and becoming a pilot for the day. From sleek jets and scale warbirds to helicopters and giant aerobatic planes, the sky was full of action and excitement. This video is just a small sample of what we had flying that day.
