Microsoft’s Hyper-V Networking to internal virtual networks, LANs, and Data Centers is critical to Hyper-V. We will demonstrate VLAN setup, VMbus loss, and QoS and review practical network and enterprise configurations for Hyper-V. We will review VLANs and their role in physical networks and how Hyper-V allows VMs to participate. We will show the importance of many standards like SR-IOV, VMQ, and NIC teaming to overcome poor network performance. We will demonstrate port mirroring and how you can use Wireshark to analyze a VM.
